The Medicann 5K Returns – Bigger, Better, and Raising Funds for ABC Jersey Ahead of World Cancer Day
Back for its third year, the Medicann 5K: Your Way is a community fundraiser bringing Islanders together to walk, run, or cycle in support of those affected by cancer — and to raise vital funds for ABC Jersey ahead of World Cancer Day (4 February).
This year’s event will once again start at St Aubin Car Park, following the scenic 5K route along the Esplanade and finishing at the Elizabeth Ferry Kiosk.
Whether you walk it solo, run with friends, or cycle as a team, everyone is welcome – all ages, all abilities, all at your own pace.
Entry is free, and participants are kindly encouraged to donate or fundraise a minimum of £100 in support of ABC Jersey. Donations can be made via Race Nation / Jersey Giving, or at the finish line via tap & pay machines and collection buckets.
This year’s event is held in loving memory of Rose Shepherd, a Medicann patient and cancer thriver who helped launch the very first Medicann 5K in 2024 and whose positivity and community spirit continue to inspire every step.
