The Island’s award-winning medicinal cannabis clinic, Medicann, is proud to announce the return of the Medicann 5K: Your Way, taking place on Sunday 1st February 2026 – just ahead of World Cancer Day (February 4).
Now in its third year, the Medicann 5K has become a much-loved community event, bringing Islanders together to celebrate strength, support, and solidarity. Since its launch in 2024, the event has raised over £10,000 for local causes, with more than £5,000 raised each year through walking, running, or cycling the scenic 5K route.
The very first Medicann 5K was co-led in 2024 by the late Rose Shepherd, a Medicann patient and cancer thriver who worked closely with the Medicann team to help create and champion the event. This year’s event once again supports ABC Jersey, a local community organisation providing vital help to those affected by cancer. Participants will gather at St Aubin Car Park, before following the 5K route along the Esplanade and finishing at the Elizabeth Ferry Kiosk.
Entry to the event is free and everyone taking part is encouraged to raise or donate at least £100 to support the work of ABC Jersey. Donations can also be made via Jersey Giving/Race Nation, or in person at the finish line collection buckets or tap & pay machines.
